Acrylonitrile Butadiene rubber (NBR) offers high resistance to oils, greases and hydrocarbons, as well as high abrasion, tensile and tear resistance.
It’s hardly subject to electrostatic charge and the formation of sparks, such that it’s often used in the automotive sector for components in contact with fuels.
Acrylonitrile butadiene rubber is classified as physiologically harmless and it’s therefore used in the production of components in contact with drinking water and beverages.
